The conference is a collaborative effort of the Ware County FFA and the Okefenokee Heritage Center’s Homestead Guild. Classes offered will allow individuals to become more self-sufficient. February 25, 2017, 8:30am-4:30pm, 700 Victory Drive, Waycross, GA
3-Day CSX Railroad Crossing Closure
WAYCROSS – CSX Railroad has scheduled a 3-day road closure in conjunction with railroad crossing improvements on US 1 Business/State Route 4 Business just south of Blackshear Avenue in the City of Waycross. US1 Business will be closed at the double rail crossing and traffic detoured beginning 7 a.m., Monday, December 19 continuing through 5 p.m., Wednesday, December 21. All work is weather contingent.
During the closure, a detour will be signed as follows:
Motorists traveling northbound on US 1 will turn right onto Tebeau Street; turn left onto Dorothy Street; then turn left onto Blackshear Avenue; continue to US 1 where detour ends.
