If you’ve never been to the park for a Christmas light show, or you haven’t been in a few years you should make the effort. Deb my wife, and I take Angelina our granddaughter every year and we have a really good time. We would be going tonight if Angelina had been well, but she’s gone down with a sickness bug, so it will have to wait for another day, but we’ll still be going. I think a sign of a great kids event is when, although not well, like she is today, she doesn’t want to miss out and is promising she’ll be well enough tonight because she enjoys it so much.
I know this might sound a strange recommendation, but for all you parents out there, you know what I mean, when kids like something, they’ll do whatever it takes to do it, even if they’re not well at the time.
Having been as I said for a number of years I would suggest that if you’ve got a spare blanket it never hurts to take it because there’s something Christmassy about sitting on a train wrapped up nice and snuggly looking at the Christmas lights. I’m sounding a bit of an old softy there, but I’m sure you know what I mean as I said.
I hope to see you there and for those that know me, don’t forget to say hi.
Happy Christmas to you all.
