Each Year the Waycross Police Department Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 gets out within the community for two important reasons;
First, it provides needy children in our area with the necessities of life and gifts at Christmas,
Second, it helps teach children that a police officer is someone they can go to in a time of need rather than be afraid of.
This drive will also aid and assist a number of other activities within our community, such as emergency assistance, food for needy families etc.
With this in mind I would like to encourage anyone who thinks this is a great idea and can afford it to help support this project.
The Waycross Police Department Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 is actively soliciting donations to raise money for the annual Shop with a Cop Program. This fund raiser will be in place until approximately the beginning of December.
Should you be questioned about the validity of fund raiser you may verify and EMPHASIZE it is for the Waycross Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5.
